Here's how the Rent.com affiliate program works:

You put links to Rent.com on your website.
Visitors click on your links and go to Rent.com to find a new place to live.
You earn $0.20 for each registered renter and up to $70 for each verified new lease.

Rent.com uses individual source ID numbers embedded within your Rent.com URLs to identify and track visitors from your site. When your visitors register with Rent.com, your source ID number will be tied to their accounts so that you will be given credit for the leases they may generate.

When one of your visitors reports to Rent.com that they have signed a new lease at one of our properties, Rent.com will send an invoice to the property to collect a fee on the lease transaction. Once Rent.com receives payment from the property, you will earn $0.20 for each registered renter and up to $70 for each verified new lease as our thanks for guiding traffic to our site.

To view your current balance, go to your statistics page. There you will see how many "Gross Leases" and "Paid Leases" your visitors have generated. "Gross Leases" are the number of new leases that have simply been reported. ("Gross Leases" have not yet been validated within our collections system.) "Paid Leases" are the number of leases on which Rent.com has collected its commission. You will be compensated for the number of "Paid Leases" you generate.

Payments will be tallied and checks will be mailed on a monthly basis. If your monthly total is less than $25, the balance will be rolled over to the next month.
