Nice staff, good neighbors

Desert Palm was generally a good place to live. The staff were generally competent and issues were addressed t Read Moreimely. While we did get charged more than expected at move out (we were charged for the carpet when we had lived there for two years and the carpet was due to be replaced), the office staff was very reasonable about it. And as someone who takes public transit, the location was really great, with the Orbit stopping right outside.

Good location for university students, buildings and interior could use appliance and other interior updates.

Good floor plan. Decent amenities. Price jump at renewal was much more than necessary. Noise from upstairs tra Read Moreveled too well (I could hear footsteps and the resident's dog. When he played music we had to ask him to turn it down).

The office staff are okay. The maintenance is okay but they never once cleaned up the mess they left in the ap Read Moreartment. The electricity costs here are INSANE though so I would not recommend anyone EVER live here unless they wanted to pay a ton for electricity.
