Loud neighbors sometimes loud parties, friendly office staff and maintenance, but takes awhile to get the work Read More order complete. Also Dishwasher is loud and kitchen faucet is too short and almost falls in the sink.

The apartment is generally livable. However, way too many of the fixtures break way too often, water consisten Read Moretly goes off, and the plumbing is unreliable. Additionally the southfacing brick walls capture way too much heat and warm the apartments too much.

It's a somewhat reasonable price for the proximity to campus but overall it's not a great place to live. The Read Moreapartments are really small and though maintenance comes reasonably quickly most of the time, they do an awful job and leave a mess every time they come.
Additionally, Studio 710 is clearly a priority over the Standard. Work has been being done over at 710 to beautify and streamline it while the Standard gets left in the dust. We've gotten a new sign And paint on the road We got a new chiller once the really hot part of the season was over which meant we were miserable the whole rest of the time.
The windows leak and rattle badly. We called for maintenance on them at the very least 4 times over at least a month and a half. The first time we called, we were told that the windows were too small for the frames they were in and that the window people needed to be called. We waited and eventually submitted another request figuring we had just maybe slipped through the cracks or something. The next person who came said they didn't know what the problem was and when we told them what the previous person had said, they decided to sign onto that idea. A couple of repetitions later, someone finally showed up and instead of replacing the windows like we were told needed to happen, they put in new sealers. It stopped the rattling but the windows still leak very badly in the center. We get bugs in our apartment a lot thanks to the leaky windows. The mosquito bites never end.
One nice thing about this place is that electricity is included at a flat rate along with your rent. On the other hand, I'm pretty sure they just do it because they would get sued if they didn't. The A C barely works to cool the apartment during the summer and you have to leave it on constantly. Also, the central air system both A C and heating operate on an on off basis. Though there is a thermostat box, it is not a thermostat but simply a dial to turn it on or off. Wanted to
