DIY Halloween Costumes Inspired by Your Favorite Celebs

Still not sure what to be for Halloween this year? Well, consider looking to the silver screen to imitate some of your favorite Hollywood A-listers. After all, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery! But you don’t need to spend a lot to dress up as a famous athlete, musician or even royalty. Here are some easy and impressive celebrity DIY Halloween costumes to pull off for the 31st:

McKayla Maroney

Remember adorable McKayla Maroney from the 2012 Olympics? She couldn’t hide her disappointment when she failed to win the gold for the vault as a heavy favorite. All you need for this costume is a leotard, a fake silver medal and a slanted frown, otherwise known as the “not impressed” face that has graced virtually every social media outlet on the Internet.

PSY

Known for his catchy and infinitely famous tune “Gangnam Style,” PSY and his choreographed dance make for the perfect Halloween costume. Grab a blue, black or green blazer, a white collared shirt, black bow tie, black socks and black sunglasses to complete the look. Oh, and don’t forget to dance to “Gangnam Style” at every chance you get.

Kate Middleton

Everyone’s dying to be Kate Middleton, and for one day in October, you can be! Find a cheap, plastic replica of her sapphire ring to sport on your ring finger, a wig of slightly curled brown locks, a fancy hat, a modest yet chic dress (look at the thrift shop!) and a string of pearls to sit around your neck. Want to go as a couple? Have your guy dress up as Prince William.

Ryan Lochte

This studly Olympic medalist is known for his washboard abs and terrible social skills during interviews. Throw on a colorful Speedo, add a fake grill, gold medal, swim cap and goggles. Oh, and don’t forget to say “Jeah” a lot and be really socially awkward.

Kim Kardashian

You don’t need to have Kanye West and baby North West by your side to emulate this popular Kardashian sister. Rock some major fake bling on your ring finger, swipe on an unnecessary amount of lip gloss, grab a wig of dark long logs, snap on some fake eyelashes and you’re good to go. And if you really want to take this costume to the next level, stuff a few small pillows into the rear end of your skin-tight leggings.

Victoria Beckham

This high-fashion, former Spice Girl is one of the easiest celebrity Halloween costumes to DIY. Find a tight secretarial dress, some heels, a pair of ridiculously oversized sunglasses, a clutch, a faux fur to wrap around you, stop smiling and you’ll be getting asked for your autograph all night.

Ke$ha

Pull out a grungy looking vintage rock tee, leopard print leggings and all the eyeliner that you can find. Apply some bright colors on your nails and add glitter wherever you can, whether it’s on your lids, your cheeks, your clothing or your nails. After all, there’s nothing that Ke$ha loves more than glitter (besides alcohol).

Pregnant Beyonce

When Queen B rubbed her belly on stage, announcing her pregnancy at the VMAs, the crowd went wild. Bring this special moment back by finding a pair of black slacks, a purple sequined blazer and a white collared shirt. Slip a small pillow under your blouse to create a tiny baby bump.
