Wine bottle crafts that turn old bottles into candles may seem a bit challenging, but it’s easier than you think.
You’ll first need to cut the top of the bottle off, so prepare by filling your kitchen sink up with cold water. Then, take a large piece of yarn and dip it in nail polish remover. Wrap the yarn around the bottle, right below the neck. Then, carefully use a match or lighter to light the yarn on fire evenly. After about 20 to 25 second of this, dip the bottle into the cold water to break the glass. Remove the string and sand down the edges.
After you’ve got the base of the bottle completed, you can either use it as a holder for the candle of your choice or you can pour your own candle! If you want to make use out of the entire wine bottle, sand down the edges of the top half as well and use it to cover tea light candles on a table for a simple, yet elegant centerpiece.
