Living in Del Mar, CA

The historic village of Del Mar traces its history to the late 19th century, when the city was a newly created settlement in San Diego County. A New Yorker named Theodore Loop built a railroad from Los Angeles to San Diego, and the city of Del Mar was created as a stop along the track. Today, Del Mar is a relaxed Oceanside town with many accolades.

Residents stay constantly connected to nature through many sustainable business and cultural initiatives. Local authorities work to implement enduring living and development practices that safeguard natural resources for future generations. The city has maintained a small population of people who live in Del Mar apartments, although the shoreline here is often thought to be "the most attractive place on the entire coast."
