Nestled within Los Angeles County, La Verne is a quaint community located at the foothills of the gorgeous San Gabriel Mountains and just on the edge of Pomona Valley. When it was established in 1906, residents made money by selling citrus fruits from the trees throughout the city. Most of the residents stopped tending to the trees after World War II ended - there are only two remaining orange groves left.
