The largest percentage of renters falls in the gross rent range of $1,000 to $1,499, with nearly 65 percent of all renters falling in the wider range of $750 to $1,499. Nearly 27 percent of renters reported spending $1,500 or more on gross rent. The data further indicated that approximately 46 percent of all renters reported spending 35 percent or more of their household income on gross rental costs.

City-Data information revealed that in March 2012, the cost of living in Ramona was assigned the value of 128.5 points, which is 28.5 percent higher than the national average of 100 points.
