We like living here, but we feel like we are overcharged on rent. There is little special about this community Read More. Not every apartment has nice amenities, such as a new fridge or a ceiling fan. The office staff is just here. They don't seem to go out of their way anymore to communicate with residents, but are very friendly when you move in. My last apartment complex would send out a monthly newsletter and host events all the time. This office staff is just here to get people to move in. That seems about it.
It doesn't seem very kid friendly. There are no sidewalks for people to walk on, and the playground is small and geared more for older children, around 5 or so. I wish there was more kid friendly things, but we intend to move out before we get pregnant.
They just changed their parking rules, and it is causing quite a commotion. We have a few friends in the community and they are very upset because they will only give you a driveway pass (They will tow your car from your own driveway without that pass!!) and a guest pass, regardless of how many people are on your lease or how many cars. There is a ton of parking, but they are painting the parking spots and expect people to rent them for $25 a month, on top of already paying over $1800 a month for rent. It is overpriced and sad they feel like they need more money. We only have two cars so it isn't a huge deal to us, but now we cannot have friends over or they will get towed.
Honestly, go somewhere else. Try Greenfield or Casoleil. There is nothing special here, and for the price, you can find better.
