The Z & Y Restaurant on Jackson Street offers authentic Chinese cuisine from a renown chef. In the mood for Indian food? Naan-n-Curry is the place to go near your new home. Washington and Sansome offers several eateries close by. For lunch hour dining with friends, the Green Bar is nearby. With San Francisco being a very walkable city, many of its restaurants and bars, as well as entertainment venues, are within walking distance.

Shop at the Crocker Galleria, the Rincon Center complex or the Ferry Building Marketplace. Moreover, the shops of Union Square are a short walk or ride from home. New Years is celebrated nearby at Justin Herman Plaza and a park is close to home.

San Francisco has the Ferry Terminal within a few blocks, and commuting to the East Bay is convenient. In fact, commuting is even more convenient if you work right in the Financial District and can walk or bike to work from your apartment.

Financial District Schools & Education

Gordon J. Lau Elementary School, part of the San Francisco City School District, is nearby. Chin Elementary and Garfield Elementary are other choices for elementary education. Private schools include Ecoloe Notre Dame Des Victoires School, St. Mary's School, Think Global School and Youth Chance High School. Upper educational choices within the city include San Francisco State University, which can be reached through the extensive system of public transportation within San Francisco and your neighborhood.
