Old building, lots of inconvenient aspects including parking lot issues, consistently broken laundry facilitie Read Mores, homeless people sleeping in the laundry room, broken elevators, windows/screens in horrible shape, poor air flow in units, bugs, etc.

I loved the location and the vintage feel of the building. My bedroom was very sunny, albeit not well-insulate Read Mored, but the radiant heat more than made up for that. Street parking is awful and very stressful, so a parking spot is strongly encouraged. Front doors into the building were often broken when I lived there, so it felt a bit unsafe at times. Be sure to lock your bike up well whether you're keeping it in the basement or at the side of the building!

The staff was great! Our apartment on the other hand was less than fabulous. We had one of the three bedroom Read More apartments and it seemed like our heat was controlled by others in the complex. It was unbearably hot during the winter. I had to sleep with two fans in my room just to cool off. We asked maintanence a few times and they said there wasn't anything they could do. There was a gap bottom of our main door into the apartment, so bugs would come in constantly. We also had an ant problem.

The units are wonderful restored apartments with hardwood floors and big windows. The Leasing Office values r Read Moreesident retention as much as they do placing new tenants.

Loved living there generally even though it was on the more expensive end. I also did not like that gas was no Read Moret submetered. We never turned on our radiators and it was really hot in our apartment all winter so that we had to open the windows, and our gas bill was over $100 a month all winter. That seemed a bit ridiculous.
