According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Englewood had a population of 30,930 as of July 2011. According to the City of Englewood, the area hosts 12 neighborhood parks and several athletic fields, and the Englewood Recreation Center is an award winning facility which encompasses and indoor track, a 25-meter 8-lane swimming pool and a full size gymnasium to name a few.
