I would tell them to turn around and run or get an attorney to negotiate the lease. My rent has surpassed 10 Read More00 per month for a one bedroom apartment with numerous flaws. This includes a 25 MANDATORY FEE for garbage disposal. So I pay twice for garbage removal. I have complained about the service not picking up my trash on numerous occasions to both Waterfront, who informed me a complaint was filed in the system, and Valet Waste, who literally laughed into the phone and told me it is part of my rent and there is nothing I can do about it. I would also advise any future resident to buy cheep shoes to walk the property, the amount of dog feces in the grass and on the sidewalks is appalling. I realize the cost of housing has increased throughout the Metro area, but a 1000 per year increase in rent AND a decline in the value is ridiculous. I wish the property was run less like a bank and more like a community. My disappointment rating is 5 stars. Not Good.

My apartment was very nice but most of the people working at Waterfront were not helpful. I submitted a few re Read Morequest to have things worked on and were never followed through. The only time they were was when I talked to the maintenance man myself and he helped me out right away. Also asked for a little help with my contract due to a unforeseen change and the management staff wouldn't even work with me.

As stated above overall the experience I have had hear is a good one but there have been enough problems to ma Read Moreke me sure I wont be renewing my lease and that I am unlikely to recommend living here to my friends. Maintenance issues are solved quickly, but have to be issued over and over again for the same problems ours being a leaky ceiling The mailboxes have been out of commission for 2 months. I feel disregarded as an annoyance when I call or visit the office to see when they might be working again. The amount of time our mail has not been coming to the complex is n issue for me especially since I have a hard time going to pick up my mail due to a work schedule that competes with the post offices hours of operation. I understand that the waterfront has little to no control about the doors, having had it explained to me that this is in the hands of someone else after the order is placed. Perhaps keeping the effected residents updated on the replacement process status would help If these two things were not happening I would be very happy with my experience here at waterfront, I love my apartment, the location and the benefits provided by being a resident here. I think that if waterfront strives to improve what needs improvement and continue doing things people here already appreciate, future residents wont have any of the concerns I have about living here.
