Dennis Cogbill

Director of Sales

Dennis Cogbill is the Director of Sales at Rent.com, the nation's number one Internet listing site in the rental housing industry. His responsibilities include leading the national sales and training teams. Dennis is known for his excellent people skills, high energy and sense of humor which he utilizes to drive results.

Prior to joining Rent.com, Dennis was VP of Sales for ThisNext, a social shopping site. While part of the executive team, Dennis helped craft and implement the media sales strategy by adding Fortune 500 clients to complement the affiliate business model. He brought in new business from brands including eBay, Aldo Shoes and Macy's.

Dennis served as Vice President, Consumer Media for Move.com. He managed the national field sales team for media and three inside teams including media, lead generation and print. He specialized in right sizing and building new teams. Dennis was instrumental in developing and implementing a complete sales pitch using best practices to cut training time in half. Prior to his work for Consumer Media, he built and managed the #1 regional sales team for Realtor.com.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Dennis lives in Woodland Hills with his wife Andrea and their three children. He and his family enjoy spending time at Disneyland as well enjoying the great beaches and mountains of California with frequent trips Newport Beach and Big Bear.

Dennis earned his Masters in Business Administration from Pepperdine's Graziadio School of Business and Management and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
