Gretchen Humbert

Chief Financial Officer

Gretchen is CFO of Rent.com, the nation's number one Internet listing site in the rental housing industry. She is responsible for all aspects of Rent.com's finance function including controllership, financial planning and analysis, enterprise risk management, billing, tax, and treasury. Gretchen plays a critical role on the executive team providing a financial perspective which exposes new growth opportunities and informs strategic business decisions.

Prior to joining Rent.com, Gretchen spent 10 years as CFO of Genex, a full-service Internet agency focusing on the automotive, financial services, real estate and entertainment industries. She also served as a client partner at Razorfish, managing the development of e-commerce projects and as the CFO of Fuel facilitating its acquisition by Razorfish.

Gretchen has extensive experience in finance, operations and strategic planning, primarily in the entertainment and Internet industry. She led the strategic planning group for Polygram Filmed Entertainment and served as CFO of one of its film production companies. Humbert began her 20 year career as an investment banker at Kidder, Peabody & Co. in New York and completed a bank training program at Citicorp.

Gretchen holds an MBA in finance and entertainment management from the Anderson School at UCLA and a bachelor in economics degree from UC Berkeley.
