The building is pet friendly, which I initially thought was great. However, residents do not clean up after th Read Moreeir pets.

The management company only cares about collecting its rent and not about its tenants. The leasing agents all Read Morelie when showing you the apartments, stating that all these updates/improvements have already been approved and are going to be done shortly-- for example, new gym equipment; 1 year later, and we still have the same lousy equipment.
I have put in numerous requests on getting things fixed in my apartment, and if its not something major, like no heat or water, they simple do not care.

The elevator often smelled wet and the carpet was dirty. The elevator was down for at least 5 days total that Read MoreI stayed there. The appliances were nothing fancy. Not sure if they were energy efficient. The courtyard often has animal feces all over. No one really cleaned up after their animals.

Poor response time from employees regading maitnance issues. Lack of follow through with moving in and out pro Read Morecesses (I.e meeting time to move in/out was late, didn't return phone calls or emails). The walls are paper thing, you can hear everything!

The lock on the front door to the building was broken for almost two months. Anyone could have walked in. Ver Read Morey unsafe in downtown New Haven.
