The staff is always friendly and accommodating, they also get to know you by name which is great. The gym is w Read Moreonderful as well as the pool area. They do thirsty Thursday and Sunday brunch and provide all of the food and beverages.

I am extremely pleased with my move to Alterra, Rocky Hill. About a year ago, I needed to find a pet-frien Read Moredly apartment in the Greater Hartford area ASAP. The office staff was very helpful, accommodating and made the move-in process as stress-free as possible. The apartment is brand new and absolutely beautiful. The pool and clubhouse are very nice as well. I was pleasantly surprised by how low my utility bills have been. My 2 dogs have lots of friends and are very happy here.

The place is really nice and new and I enjoy living there, but the management company can be difficult to deal Read More with. They definitely try to squeeze every last dollar out of you. Overall, it's a very pleasant community with all the new amenities I want.

We have been very happy at Alterra Rocky Hill. The buildings and grounds are well taken care of. The apart Read Morement size is generous and well thoughtout, with plenty of storage. We especially like the laundry within the unit which is housed in a very large closet making for plenty of storage. The kitchen is well thoughtout with nice cabinetry and appliances. The only thing that I would like improved is the water pressure!!

A few issues that need to be addressed before giving an excellent rating is: Dog owners responsibility in pic Read Moreking up after their dogs, and it being enforced by Alterra. Cigarette disposal. Garbage.
