The park is situated in Rock Creek Park managed by the National Park Service.

The Glover-Archbald Community Garden is also located in D.C., giving you a different option depending on where you want to grow. This garden is about three acres in size, and 150 plots are available to the public. There is also a composting area at this park, as well as picnic tables and log seating for the utmost convenience.

Thriving arts and culture

If you want to be situated near cultural venues and performing arts centers during your apartment search, you won't have to go far in D.C. This metropolis has 80 theaters that put on more than 350 productions - attracting about 2 million people in D.C.  - each year. In total, the capital has the second-highest per-capita number of theater productions every year - this makes it second only to New York City.
