I think for my first apartment I am very blessed to have the Berkshire. The gym, store, laundry room and loung Read Moree is so convenient. My room is spacious and the complex is really full of all different types of people. I'm going to be very sad when I do have to leave due to after college life and moving away but for now I'm here to stay!

It's a nice building, hut the paper thin walls and bugs...probably won't renew my lease

Honestly, the only reason anyone lives here is because it's close to American University. It's overpriced, bug Read More-infested, and frustrating to live in. There's no customer service or community management. If anything, you feel distinctly unwelcome. Will be leaving as soon as I cam.

I've lived in a few different apartments communities, and The Berkshire stands out as the most friendly and he Read Morelpful staff I've ever worked with. I accepted a new job and had to move from another city within two weeks. From the beginning, every member of the Berkshire staff was ready to help make the move in process quick and painless. Since moving in, multiple members of the staff have helped me with directions and getting to know the area. They've really made this new city feel like home, and I greatly appreciate it. As far as the apartment itself, it's everything I was looking for. The condition of the apartment on move in day was impressive, particularly for a building this old. I haven't faced a single problem with appliances, and the walls and floors look fantastic. Overall I've had a wonderful experience, and I plan on staying with The Berkshire community for many years to come.
