The city of Port Richey is located along the Gulf Coast in central Florida, approximately 13 miles north of Palm Harbor and 27 miles northwest of Tampa. The city is in Pasco County and is considered part of the Tampa-Saint Petersburg-Clearwater metropolitan area.
