The university offers the option for pupils to gain an associate degree, transfer credits to a four-year institution, or even earn a bachelor's degree in select fields.

Buford is home to a large number of entrepreneurs, and its long history of being a business-friendly city has not wavered. Some of the largest employers in the county include Gwinnett County Public Schools, Gwinnett County government, Gwinnett Health Systems, Publix Supermarkets, Wal-Mart and the State of Georgia.
