Management changed while I was living there and ended up being less friendly over time, but overall I had a go Read Moreod experience living there. The neighborhood is quiet with a great selection of cute shops and food in walking distance. Also, living a short walk to the train station gave me peace of mind when I was driving a vehicle that I wasn't sure would get me everywhere.

It was fine. Everyone seemed nice who lived there. Even the front desk was friendly. But when we were forced o Read Moreut due to bed bugs and had to find somewhere else to live asap my good experience turned sour pretty fast.
It's been over 2 years since I lived there and I never received my security deposit back. Since I didn't get that back I feel like I can go against the staff's instructions to keep the bed bug thing low profile. Walls are thin, had rats, came from the apt. below us through th floor

Avondale Station is a wonderful, vintage apartment complex located between downtown Decatur and Avondale Estat Read Morees. I've lived there three years so far and love it still. The new management is pouring money into updating the buildings. The only thing I find as a downside is the cold seeps in a little in the winter and the furnace isn't powerful enough to push the heat to the back bedrooms. Electrical system and windows were recently updated.

The management group has made improvements. When I have had issues, I call the office, and they send someone Read Morewithin 24 hours. The grounds are kept tidy on a weekly basis.
