Property Details

The Happ Brothers Manufacturing Building (circa 1916) was converted to state-of-the-art apartments by McCarty Property Group in 2001. I love living downtown Macon. As a female I am often asked if I feel safe and I must say I have never felt li Read Moreke I was in a threatening evironment. The location is awesome, it's not right in the gut of it all but it is close enough you can walk. I have lived in the BL in the past and moved back because I had such a great experience. The staff is terrific! I do wish that we had a up to date gym/recreational area.

Very old and dirty building, with a ton of cockroaches and other bugs. You never have parking. I find the garb Read Moreage location to be inconvenient. The only good things about this place is the gate to enter the apartment which makes me feel safe and the location, and the apartment manager that looks over all the different units is incredible, otherwise this place is horrible.

As an artist the space and light is amazing! Close to downtown and nightlife and work. Residents are respect Read Moreful and professional . Coming from Los Angeles and Dallas, the price is good and well maintained. Would love area for motorcycle and bicycle parking.

A few things many residents would like added: deck furniture to the rooftop deck (tables/chairs/umbrellas or s Read Moreome kind of covering), a "cleanup station" by the dumpster area and the gated parking lot area where many of us take our dogs, better gym equipment, flowers or something outside (a few hydrangea bushes- it doesn't have to be anything fancy or high maintenance), more storage when you redo the kitchens and bathrooms (add a pantry/non-pedestal sinks), indoor bike storage
