I have experienced a few issues with my apartment. Frequently my apartment has smelled of gas and when I a Read Moresked the maintenance engineer to take a look at it, the problem was not solved. Additionally living on the top floor of the building, the hallway and my apartment are extremely warm. In the dead of Chicago winter I had my apartment windows open 24/7 with the heat off to keep the room at a reasonable temperature. In the spring/summer the AC is on constantly.

Elevator was constantly broken; rooms were not sound-proof at all as I could hear all movements the people ups Read Moretairs made and am certain the people below had the same issues with me; hallways smelt funky; the ventilation in the bathroom was not fixed throughout my tenancy

Apartment was mostly remodeled recently and feels clean and pleasant. New carpet is a major plus. Location Read More not too far from Lincoln Park is nice. Price is excessive for the amount of space, although this seems to be a trend here. Parking is effectively impossible.

Everything is very nice except two things. The first is the laundry; the dryers need to not have a fixed time Read More. It is very difficult to dry towels completely, even when the dryer is far under loaded. We have to pay the entire amount twice, when only 10 mins more are needed. The second issue is the parking. The spot we were assigned is dead near impossible to pull in and out of when other cars are present in adjacent spots. For the amount of money that it costs, this is a major deal breaker.
