I loved the location, but the apartment it was totally different as the one they showed me, that it was modern Read More and renewed. The one we got had old carpet, painting, etc. Customer service was not the best, the pipe of the building broke and our apartment flooded and they didnt act as I expected, I had to be the one calling them and asking for help instead of them come to fix it, or provide water, or even an apologie, etc.

These apartments had the potential to be great, but fell short. (Old junky appliances, tiles peeling up, multi Read Moreple things breaking in the first few months of living here: dishwasher, freezer, washer, leaking pipe-these things were all fixed quickly though, bug problem-tiny black bugs in all the screens, on the window sill, and all over the balcony so we could never open windows or sit outside) Also, the constant barking from the dog boarding facility right behind the apartments made us CRAZY

Nice and well maintained facilities
Was in good condition upon move in
However the staff sent me a lot o Read Moref annoying letters about my downstairs neighbor who was sensitive to noise. If you live on the bottom floor, expect to hear people walking.
Apparently they cheat their maintenance staff and fired a man when he requested time off for surgery. He told me about it at the grocery store.

We had a leak in our apartment the whole 3 years that we lived there. They would put a band aid on it and they Read More it would always reoccur. They never completely fixed the problem. Also, in the 3 years we lived there our rent went up so much that we were paying $200 more at the end of our lease compared to when we moved in there. There are not enough parking spots either. When I worked nights and came home I would have to park on the curb.

Upstairs neighbor was incredibly noisy and inconsiderate. Filed several complaints with the office and talked Read Moreto the resident...all to no avail. Apartment was chopped up creating very little real space. During the winter, it was always cold because the window and wall insulation was poorly done. Had several water leaks both from the apartment upstairs and the west facing bedroom walls. The final straw was a rent increase that would have have put the apartment rent very much above real value.
