If you’re interested in being able to walk to myriad options for dining and nightlife and it’s important to you to live in a safe and gorgeous neighborhood, Fells Point might just be the precise combination of upscale and lively to fit your tastes!
You were probably thinking this, and it’s definitely safe to assume: this maritime community comes with a bit of a price tag. Because this neighborhood was originally heavily occupied by immigrants from all over the world, there are many delicious and authentic options for all sorts of cuisine. And of course, this area is known for its bars. With all the options for cocktails and craft brew you’re definitely going to be happy that your apartment was within walking distance of the pub. There is also a variety of antique stores, music shops, and a municipal market house that is home to tons of individual stalls (but we highly recommend not drinking and shopping…trust us).
Fell's Point also host several annual events, such as the Fun Festival, Privateer Festival, and the Olde Tyme Christmas Festival. People from all over Baltimore and even surrounding areas enjoy taking part in these, plus it’s a great way to get to know your new neighbors and make some friends!

A majority of our listings in Fells Point have units that allow both dogs and cats, though you’ll have to speak directly with your landlord to make sure there is no breed or weight restriction. Fells Point is also home to a Veterinary Medical Center, while the neighboring area of Federal Hill features several options for pet stores and groomers.
Fells Point is served by Baltimore’s public transit system, but only slightly. There are several bus lines that run throughout the neighborhood, and from those you can ride to Federal Hill where you can access the Light Rail or commute to Downtown. No major highways run through Fells Point, but a short drive to the north will give you access to I-40. It can also be reached by water taxi, though this is more of a fun thing to do rather than a legitimate way to get around.
When Fells Point was going through its rejuvenation period in the 70s, it was a huge priority for families in the neighborhood to have prestigious education options for their young children. Today, Fells Point is home to some of the finest public schools in Baltimore, including the Wolfe Street Academy (PreK-5) and The Crossroads School (6-8). Typically Baltimore school system is considered to be sub-par, and for parents who want to explore the private school route there are many options to choose from near Fells Point and throughout the city. We definitely advise you to do your research, and talk to your neighbors.
