Mill No. 1 is an adaptive reuse of 19th century cotton mill buildings into a mixed-use development project of apartments, offices and restaurants. We are now scheduling hard hat tours of this exciting new project for prospective residential tenants! Mill No. 1 features a wide range of apartment units with large, exciting floor plans including huge studios, 1 and 2 bedrooms, three bedrooms and a variety of lofts! Many original, historical details have been preserved and are showcased in the common areas and inside each unit, such as wood beams and iron posts, breakfast bars fashioned from reclaimed wood, and original wood flooring in many units. The ceilings soar to 12-16 feet in our apartments, allowing for ten foot tall windows which bathe them in natural light. Modern conveniences have not been forgotten - all units feature granite counters in kitchens and baths, in unit laundry, central air and heat, and efficient stainless steel appliances. Our future residents will enjoy numerous amenities such as an on-site gym, an infinity-edge pool over looking the Jones Falls, garage parking included in the rent, dynamic common spaces, two restaurants and on-site property management and maintenance personnel. We are also a pet friendly community! Mill No. 1 is centrally located in Baltimore City next to the beautiful, historical Jones Falls and is just blocks from all of the shopping and dining of the Avenue in Hampden. With easy access to I-83 and the Light Rail System, you will be minutes from downtown Baltimore, Mount Vernon, Penn Station, Towson and other great nearby communities. Mill No. 1 is also in close proximity to some of Maryland's top universities and attractions including Johns Hopkins University, Loyola University, Baltimore Museum of Art and The Maryland Zoo.
