Hanover is a relatively small neighborhood located in northeast Maryland, approximately 11 miles southwest of Baltimore and 13 miles east of Columbia. It is an unincorporated community in the northwest corner of Anne Arundel County and is considered a southern suburb of Baltimore near the Howard County line.
