My apartment at AveryPark was decent considering the location and community. The office staff during my 3 year Read More residency period were very rude and unprofessional. The office lacked diversity. Parking was tedious. In the event that you arrived after 8pm depending on the season you would not finding parking in front of or close to your building. Thin walls and floors. Sketchy neighborhood.Priced to high for the issues you have to deal with.

My first experience was with mice. Every corner of my apartment had brass wire shoved in it to prevent them f Read Morerom getting in. I had to set my own glue traps and caught 7 mice in about 3 months.
My building was fumed on several occasions for bed bugs. This was the most proactive that the property was about any infestation. I had to pack my stuff up 3 times for repeated fumigation.
The roaches was the last problem which seems to have been taken care of by the time the bedbugs were gone.

Avery Park is a good location if you drive, but isn't as close to a metro line as I would have liked. The pri Read Morece was great and the neighbors were mostly good while I was there. I moved once I was able to buy my own home, else I would still be there today. I didn't use the recreational amenities while there, but do know that many of my neighbors did. Kid and pet-friendly. Office staff were usually nice when I had to stop by. Somewhat thin walls, but to be expected in an apartment.
