With a special focus on mid-18th century women, the museum is dedicated to the study of the history and culture of 18th century Prince George's County. Many visitors enjoy learning about the town's past and getting an inside look into the widow - who went by the name Lettice Wardrop Thomson Sim - who lived here before the American Revolution.
