Downtown Boston is currently a medley of commercial and residential buildings, sports venues, theaters, nightclubs, and restaurants. And while giant tea parties aren't as commonplace as they used to be, this 24-hour city contains the perfect balance for work and play.

Whether your pet needs grooming, medical attention, or just a sitter, you won’t have any trouble finding options in the neighborhood that both you and your pet can agree on.
Commuting in Downtown Boston:
Many choose to rent apartments Downtown because commuting to and from work is a piece of cake. You’ll either rent in the heart of the financial district or live very close by, so if you’re one of the hundreds of thousand employed in that area you might even be able to walk to work. Otherwise you’ll be able to use the light rail, buses, trams, trolleys, and commuter trains that cover the neighborhood. If you need to travel by car, then parking is available in one of the many public parking garages--but just as a warning, that can get pretty pricey!
Education & Schools Near Downtown:
The opportunity for education begins early in the downtown area of Boston. For your children’s preschool needs, Bright Horizons uses the “World at your Fingertips” approach believing that a child’s best teacher is experience and there are many locations in and around the city proper. They accept children from infants to pre-kindergarten age. When it comes to K-12, Downtown has no close options, so you will have to look to other neighborhoods to find the nearest school.
