Hancock Village townhome apartments combine the best of the suburbs and the city.
**Free rent 1st month on select apartments** Our interest in the property was piqued when we saw that it had 80 acres of real estate right next to acres of conservations grounds, and was heightened once we saw the stately side-by-side brick townhomes. With hard work and an eye for detail, we've managed to keep the already existing look and feel of the property, while still adapting it to include modern features and conveniences. As an example of one of our upgrades, consider our modern community room, which features not only a spacious relaxation area, but a large-screen movie theater room as well. To keep the Chestnut Hill, MA apartments outside aesthetic, we've left many of the attractive patios intact, offering views of either the woodlands or courtyards.

Hancock village was constantly invading our privacy to do maintenance work. Often times they would leave light Read Mores on after doing maintence work and once they left our door unlocked and all the lights on after working on our apartment. We came home from work to find our door wide open and lights left on that we did not turn on that day. The most unnerving part was that when we complained management shrugged us off.
There was never consistent hot water. We took many cold showers in this apartment.

Loved the location and the cute townhouse set-up, but unfortunately lived in a unit that controlled the boiler Read More for 6 other units. Any time heat was lost, maintenance would have to come into the apartment to fix it - which would be at all hours of the day/night. They "replaced" the boiler at one point, which involved weeks of maintenance folks coming in and out of the apartment, tracking in the dirt, which we would have to personally clean up.

Hancock village is poorly maintained. I had issues with mice, water leaks, and mold. The mice were dealt wit Read Moreh immediately but came back a few months later. The water and mold took longer to deal with and made the apartment musty smelling. I moved out as soon as my lease was finished. The office staff was also rude and pushy when I was moving out. I would recommend avoiding this place.
