The people of Chelsea, MA are known for their strong family ties and impeccable work ethic. Located on a small piece of land in Boston Harbor, Chelsea is the smallest city in Massachusetts by area, and over the years, has continually evolved into the dynamic suburb it is today.

Chelsea, once home to the Winnisimmet Massachusset tribe, was was officially incorporated in 1739. Today, the population the city has a population of 35,000, and almost 40 percent of the population was born outside of the United States, making it a very diverse city with many cultural identities and practices.

Those who rent property in Chelsea are surrounded by a number of historic sites including the Bellingham Square Historic District, C. Henry Kimball House and Congregation Agudath Shalom, which are all on the National Register of Historic Places.

Though Chelsea is only comprised of 2.5 square miles, there are more than 30 parks in the area's neighborhoods. This makes the city perfect for those who have kids or for those who live in an apartment and want to experience some walking, hiking or enjoying the community green space. Some notable parks include Paul A. Dever Park, the CND Community Garden and Eden Street Park.

Because this city is close to Boston, those who love sports will find a lot to do in the area. This includes going to see the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park or taking in a New England Patriots game at Gillette Stadium in nearby Foxborough.

Chelsea is easily accessed by public transportation and is part of the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority. This makes getting into Boston for work or play extremely easy. For those who drive from their apartment into Boston or other areas, taking the Route 1 North Expressway is the easiest method.
