The property is poorly managed and clearly operating for profit only. There is little respect for tenants. The Read More amenities are nice, but are often failing. I have had numerous problems with heat and hot water not working.

The apartment was in the basement which gave it a cave-like feeling. Also, the floors beneath the (industrial Read More grade) carpets tended to seep slightly, giving the carpets a mushy moist feeling. There was little soundproofing and so you could hear the footsteps of those above you, especially when coming down the stairs. The place does allow dogs and has decent facilities for them. Staff is friendly and reacts quickly to maintenance issues.

I lived here for 4 years and at first I liked this apartment because it was fairly reasonably priced. But over Read More time the rent skyrocketed. If I recall the rent went up 15% in two years. And they pressure you to renew your lease very early and then allow the price to go up even more if you dont lock up at the earliest date. The rising rent made it harder for me to overlook the generally lower quality apartments.

As a resident I felt as though we were treated poorly by the staff. We have had issues with out water and when Read Moreever they were working on it they gave us no notification of the water being shut off making it difficult to get ready for work and classes.

The apartment quality is high and community perks (e.g. Fitness center and pool) are nice. The office staff is Read More not very friendly or welcoming, though. They're not terribly unfriendly, either. Just lukewarm. For all the money residents pay their company, they could be a little more pleasant. One major complaint: lease renewals come out too early. 6 months before our lease is up we're being asked to renew. One doesn't always know what the next 6 or even 4 months will bring.
