Other top employers include the Van Buren Public School District, Bank One N.A. Technical Center, L&W Engineering Company, Meijer, Coca-Cola Enterprises and Murray’s Discount Auto Stores Inc. Fifty-three percent of Belleville residents work in management, sales and office occupations, and join the 21 percent in production, transportation and material moving positions in making up the majority of the local workforce.

The festival includes a parade with more than 150 floats, two midways, a beer tent, live music, bingo, crafters, food, strawberry treats, children’s attractions, and a Strawberry Queen pageant. More than 30,000 people flock to Belleville to pay homage to strawberries.
