Residents living here will also want to check out the National Strawberry Festival, which takes place annually on Father's Day Weekend to celebrate strawberry season. The festival includes a parade with more than 150 floats, two midways, a beer tent, live music, bingo, crafters, food, strawberry treats, children’s attractions, and a Strawberry Queen pageant. More than 30,000 people flock to Belleville to pay homage to strawberries.

In terms of public transportation, Belleville is served by Southeast Michigan Area Rapid Transit (SMART), which provides convenient transportation for Macomb, Oakland and Wayne Counties.
