Loring Park Arts & Culture
Oh, that park we mentioned earlier? All year round, residents enjoy an array of festivals, films, concerts, and community activities in this natural haven. Whether you’re attending the “Movies in the Park” series, decorating your Loring Park apartment with goods from the art fair, or simply going for a stroll through the famous sculpture garden, you’ll probably find yourself frequenting the park as most residents do.

Loring Park Food & Nightlife
The neighborhood of Loring Park is very small, less than a square mile in fact. It is densely populated, and has a lot of housing, but it doesn’t have a ton of commercial areas. The neighborhood itself is spattered with some small restaurants, boutiques, and markets throughout.
When it comes to getting all your groceries, going on a shopping spree, or having a ton of restaurant and bar options at your fingertips, you’ll want to head next door to the Nicollet Mall. Just a short walk through the Loring Greenway will lead you to all the culture, nightlife, and delicious food you could want. Or if you’re tired of the downtown scene, a short walk in the opposite direction will lead you to Uptown, where there are plenty of other options for bars, restaurants, and clubs.
So it’s a toss-up! There won’t be a crazy restaurant and bar scene right next to your apartment in Loring Park, but then again everything you could possibly want is within a fifteen minute walk. If you’re someone that wants to walk out of your home and into a bar then you should look to the North Loop neighborhood of MPLS, but if you don’t mind a little (and we mean little) bit of exercise, then Loring Park is a 10!
