The process for extending my lease was sneaky as I asked repeatedly what the total amount was for a new lease Read Morewhich at the time they said $10, but it end up being $40 extra a month which was not clear during resigning my lease agreement. I convinced my friend to move to The District in November and his experience was poor. His apartment wasn't up to par and he had to wait 2 weeks to look at another unit which was not ideal either. Lastly, there is a major dog feces problem due to lazy residents.
