Rent an apartment in Centennial Hills, Las Vegas, NV, and you will be part of master-planned community in the north west foothills of the city. Only about a dozen years old, this neighborhood’s elevation ensures that it has stunning views of downtown Las Vegas as well as the surrounding mountains.
Centennial Hills was developed with a mix of housing that ranges from multi-residential apartments, condos and townhomes, to single-family residences and magnificent custom estates on lots as large as a half acre. The area also has its own retail centers, recreational areas and medical facilities.

Centennial Hills Lifestyle and Entertainment
Residents of Centennial Hills have a decidedly more rural lifestyle than other parts of the city. Yet, you are conveniently close to all that Las Vegas has to offer.
Life in a master planned community certainly has its advantages. Although the city is just a car ride away, you can find everything they need close to home. The local Centennial Center features retailers, eateries and theaters. The area also boasts the largest regional park in Las Vegas as part of its Town Center. Families will certainly make great use of the park, picnic areas, water-play area, the two dog parks, soccer fields and volleyball courts.
For the more adventurous, nearby Mt. Charleston Ski Resort gives snowboarders and skiers the opportunity to keep your skills sharp. Other local outdoor attractions include Floyd Lamb State Park with its hiking trails, picnic areas and fishing ponds, the Aliante Nature Discovery Park, and Red Rock Canyon.
The Centennial Hills Rental Market
There is much to choose from in the Centennial Hills rental market. Since development in this area began in the early 2000s, most rentals are in newer complexes with modern amenities and styling. The area also has a nice selection of condos, townhomes and single-family homes to choose from, some of them quite large.
Apartment complexes in Centennial Hills are mainly low-rise and mid-rise buildings, many with clubhouses, fabulous swimming pools, and more square footage than buildings closer in to the Strip. Rent for a one-bedroom apartment starts at about $700 monthly, with two-bedrooms starting at about $1,000.
The Las Vegas Strip is a 30-minute car ride away via U.S. Highway 95 and I-215.
