With the residential growth, a full range of businesses, shops, restaurants, nightlife venues and more have moved into the region to serve the growing population. Everything you need is likely within easy reach of home, while the larger metro area offers all types of recreational opportunities. You can ski Mt. Charleston, hike Red Rock Canyon, play sports at a nearby park, sing karaoke at a local pub or try your hand a game of chance in a downtown casino. The Southwest Rental Market

The Southwest rental market is very widespread and offers rental choices for most budgets. In general, the further you go from the city center, the less expensive the rent becomes. The area is dotted with newer low-rise apartment complexes, many with the most modern amenities. You can find one-bedroom apartments for just under $500 monthly, although $650 to $700 is more typical. You can expect to pay $800 to $1,100 monthly for a two bedroom apartment.
