Delaware Steam Train Excursions are one of the area's finest attractions and give visitors a chance to travel along the Delaware River via New Jersey's only operating steam locomotive rail cars. At different times of the year, attendees can attend the Easter Bunny and Egg Hunt Train, Winery Tour Train and Mine Train excursions for a fun, themed experience.

Residents in Alpha also partake in the New Jersey Festival of Ballooning, Las Fling Pumpkin Sling and other exciting local events.
