Morristown is easily accessible via Routes 287, 202, 24, 80 and 78. In addition, New Jersey Transit's Midtown Direct provides a quick, relaxing ride into New York Penn Station and eliminates the need to transfer at Hoboken. The area is also serviced by Lakeland Bus Lines and for local routes, Morris County Metro Bus.
Located directly across the street from the apartments is Kings Supermarket, a drug store, a dry cleaners, a video rental store and a popular restaurant...venture a little further and you'll be in the center of Morristown's downtown shopping district. Better known as the "Green," it defines the town's character and is surrounded on all four sides by numerous historically significant structures which house everything from a Chinese restaurant to a branch of the U.S. Postal Service. In fact, having almost everything you need within walking distance, in conjunction with mass transit being so readily available means owning a car becomes an option rather than a necessity.
Schools in and around Morristown, from elementary through college, consistently receive high marks. The Morris School District is a first-rate public school system and is nicely augmented by seven private schools in the immediate area as well as one charter school. For higher education, opportunities run the gamut from the two-year County College of Morris to nearby prestigious Drew University.
