Dorchestor has an excellent landlord and maintenance team. Great neighbors too! If you're looking for a clea Read Moren, safe, and friendly place to live, then you've found it. When I moved to Bergen County I searched apartments high and low. They were either too out dated, too expensive, dirty and/or without parking. I overlooked dorchester several times due to it's proximity to the river. When I made an appointment with the landlord here, I found the apartment that I love! I don't want to move!

Problems if any are always readily addressed. Upgrades to the common areas are appreciated. Office staff very Read Morefriendly. I feel as if we are all friends in a community.

While the appartments are large, the units are vastly overpriced due to proximity to a train station. The heat Read Moreing/AC bills are monstrous, around 150-200 in the winter. The electric baseboard heaters are a joke, as there is little to no insulation in the walls to keep the slight heat they produce inside. During the cold months, you get to choose between being cold, or being poor and still wearing a sweater at all times. The whole place is infested with geese, who go everywhere, all year long.

Bait & switch tactics wherein the management claimed the unit was not ready for inspection until move-in dates Read More. And upon rental commitment, I discovered that the unit differed drastically from the model apartment. That is, parquet/not wood flooring; old rusted metal cabinets in kitchen/not newly renovated wood cabinets and unrenovated bathroom/not updated/renovated. Property grounds were constantly inundated with goose droppings and overflow sewage ditch; basement flooding.
