Prefer a non-smoking building. Can not leave windows open or sit on deck, people in next apartment are typical Read Morely smoking on their deck and it typically blows our way. Also, feel that there should only be a one way direction on levels of garage, lanes are tight and blind spots at all mergers of ramp and floors. One way traffic flow would mitigate chances of head on collisions at the ramp/level intersections. Finally, equipment in gym should be maintained better

Our rating is really between good and excellent. The drawbacks are that we should be able to have a system to Read More allow us to buzz in our guest instead of having to make a trek to the garage. This is especially onerous when you have multiple guests. There should also be a doorbell at each apartment, because often you cant hear the maintenance staff or delivery companies when they knock

I have never found anything regarding management to complain about. The building is well maintained, and resid Read Moreents are generally friendly. They don't skimp on things at the Alexander, and there are free cookies in the lobby. Only drawback to the building is it is not on the city sidewalk network, to travel anywhere on foot you must dangerously traverse several freeway on ramps and a major road.
