Living in Vestal, NY
Vestal was established in January 1823, but was originally a part of the town of Union. Because the town is bound by the Susquehanna River, the area’s earliest Native American inhabitants are thought to have traveled along the path and at the mouth of Choconut Creek.
Today, residents are in the perfect locale to go on a weekend ski trip in the winter, or New York’s Finger Lakes in the summer. Boasting 20 parks and the Rail Trail, Vestal rentals are perfect for outdoorsy types who also enjoy suburban living. Residents are always found along the Susquehanna River Trail canoeing, fishing, boating or just basking in the scenery.
