Overview of Asheboro

Asheboro is seated in Randolph County and is known for being the center point of North Carolina, and is close to the Piedmont plateau area, which is far to the east of the Appalachian Mountain Range. It is conveniently only 30 miles away from Lexington. Nestled within the Uwharrie Mountains, it is surrounded by natural beauty and gentle, rolling hills, making it an ideal place to rent in. The city prides itself on the “come as you are” attitude and tight-knit community. It is the largest city in the county and is part of the Piedmont Triad, which also encompasses the Greensboro, Winston-Salem and High Point regions of the state.
