To be perfectly fair... the apartment that I moved in to were one of the single level cottages. These were, i Read Moref I remember correctly, built in the 1950s, it seems; to that point, these cottages were maintained, as well as, they could be, considering that no major renovations, that I could see/tell, had ever been made to these cottages. So in essence you get what you pay for, and the value that I received from this experience, was fair for the length of time that I lived in this cottage.

Great price and location. Don't let the outside fool you, inside the apartments have great space and are love Read Morely. Some new windows would do wonders for the curb appeal. The neighborhood was quiet but I met some really fun people there. I loved having the giant lawn area around the house. It is an old place though, so you will get your cockroaches and mice, no matter how much they spray.

The walls are quite thin, and I can hear everything going on in my neighbors home which can be pretty embarras Read Moresing at times. It's like having an extra set of roommates, only you didn't get to choose who you're living with.

Safety has been a big concern. There are reports often of break-ins, and I have had items stolen form my car.

The maintenance team is great and responds quickly to concerns. These are older buildings, so many things can go wrong. It's nice to know they're there to help.
