Overall Sterling has been good. Its a nice complex and relatively quiet. My only gripe is that I live at the 3 Read More510 apartment building and I'm near the garage door. Being that we have a solid garage door still, its quiet loud in the morning and the evenings when its going up and down. If that could be alleviated that would be great. There is a lot of squeaking from the door.

I have rented many many places throughout the years. The staff at Sterling Magnolia is the best staff I've ev Read Moreer encountered. Professional, super helpful, and they care. This is very unusual from my previous experiences. This includes both maintenance and office personnel. The grounds and the apartments are also beautifully maintained. I also feel safe with the apartment doors on the inside and I love having underground parking. The elevator is a plus when moving.

Recent renovations basically amounted to new paint everywhere and a fancy clubhouse that's inconveniently on Read Morely open during business hours i.e.- when a normal working resident isn't home to even use it. No screens on windows or patio doors, awful water pressure, stinky elevators, no package boxes in mail rooms, terrible range on garage door openers. Tacky balloons on leasing office sign as if we��??re perpetually throwing a child's b-day party. Maintenance requires at least 2 prompts to respond.

The office staff is consistently excellent. However, the maintenance staff is unfortunately the poorest I've e Read Morever experienced. It takes them longer to respond (if at all) to problems than any I've dealt with before, when they finally respond they often delay a fix/have to come back again, and to make things worse they often don't fix things correctly or understand the issue when they finally do come back. They also make flippant comments about repairs, making us feel bad to even report issues.
