The staff are friendly and helpful but the buildings are made of cheap materials and the apartments are very p Read Moreoorly insulated. The cost of electricity is extremely high because it requires the heater to run constantly. The poor seal on the windows causes mold to grow on them (something maintenance says is common) and allows an almost continuous breeze of cold air in the winter. Many of the cupboards were damaged at move-in, some of the electrical outlets do not work, and cracks around the window

The apartments are clean and maintaince are responsive. However, its not children friendly. It has lots of spa Read Morece but no place for play or bike riding. In addition, the equipment in the exercise room is old and not safe or functional.

I think Fieldstone is a nice place to live, at least in the newer buildings. A couple of improvements that I t Read Morehink could bump it up to an Excellent rating: updating the fitness room (everything there is pretty old and not in very good shape), building a sidewalk to connect with the Kroger parking lot, and allowing some areas for community gardens.
