The apartment itself is comfortable and I don't really have any complaints other than the "upgraded" appliance Read Mores are not very good (dishwasher is basically disintegrating). My bigger complaints come from the facilities. I was told that the gym equipment was being updated when we moved in. It is not and I have many complaints about it. Only one area in the complex to take recycles. The garages don't have keypads. Not enough visitor parking. Car ports are too expensive.

We were very pleased with the two years we spent at Runaway Bay. We had excellent experiences with the staff Read Moreand maintenance and loved the amenitities (pool, lake, gym). The only reason why I did not give Runaway Bay an "excellent" rating is because in the winter our heat broke and it took two days to fix and in the summer our air conditioning broke and it took over a week to fix. We felt that this was too long given the extreme weather we were experiencing at the time.

Overall we really like our apartment. It had a nice layout and it is a really nice location. We had one issue Read More while at the apartment with mice due to construction going on nearby. This was the cause for us moving. Unfortunately they never remedied the situation and kept putting the blame on us. We are not dirty people and our apartment was kept spotless. We were too fed up to stay.

The management and the office staff were only friendly when we came to take a tour of the apartments. i was im Read Morepressed and decided to move in, but the staff courteousness ends there. They are pretty dull and do not intend to attend to help you in any way. They even charged me two times for the utilities when I moved out and finally gave up after contacting them several times . I can go on and on with the list of bad experiences i have had at that place because of rude management and office staff.

When we moved in, everything was awful. Dirty clothes and food in the laundry room, dryer broken, shower didn' Read Moret work, sliding glass door didn't lock ( first floor apt), spider/cob webs everywhere, coffee grounds and food in cupboards. When i called the office and asked to have it cleaned, they said we might have someone out next week. Nobody ever came. I had to scrub top to bottom. The topper. I called corporate 13 times! The week we left i finally talked to someone. Her response was "i'm sorry"
