However, this city is evolving in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, education, transportation and healthcare.

Despite the city's small population, the community has its very own thriving arts scene, with the Ohio Light Opera being one of the major highlights of the culture scene. The area is also known for the Wayne Center for the Arts, a beautiful arts studio, gallery and performance hall all in one. The center features everything from ballet to art education and live classical performances.
